1. GENERAL

All purchases made from this website are subject to these terms & conditions only, unless varied in writing by Alarmtronic Ltd

 

2. ORDERING FROM US

2.1) You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process. As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement email, detailing the products you have ordered.

2.2) Our acceptance of an order takes place when we dispatch the order. When we dispatch the order the purchase contract will be made even if your payment has been processed immediately, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order.

2.3) We may refuse to accept an order

(a) Where the goods are not available.

(b) Where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment.

(c) If there has been a pricing or product description error.

(d) If you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms or conditions.

 

3. AVAILABILITY OF GOODS

In these terms & conditions, when we refer to “goods” we mean any of the goods sold or made available through this Website. We do not warrant or represent that any goods featured in this website will be available at the time you place an order. Availability may vary depending upon the nature of the goods chosen.

 

4. PRICING

4.1) Prices do not include VAT which will be charged at the rate in force at the date of dispatch.

4.2) Where we charge separately for packing, carriage and insurance and other relevant charges, the appropriate rates are set out in our specified pricing structure shown elsewhere on this website.

4.3) All prices shown are UK pounds and when payments are made your card will be charged the GBP prices shown.

 

5. CANCELLATION AND RETURNS POLICY

5.1) A purchaser who places an order online and who then cancels an order or receives an order and wishes to return it, should informs us in writing within 7 days of the delivery date

5.2) The goods should be returned to us in the original packaging in a saleable condition for a refund or exchange. The costs of returning goods to us shall be borne by you.

5.3) The goods returned may be subject to a restocking fee

5.4) We cannot accept returns on any items, which have been specially manufactured or ordered by you

5.5) We are not responsible for any labour charges incurred during fitment or removal of allegedly faulty (or incorrectly supplied) parts

5.6) If any item supplied develops a fault within its warranty period from the date of receipt you must inform us before returning the item and we will form you of the returns procedure.

 

6. WARRANTY

6.1) Our Products are guaranteed for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of delivery against defects in design, materials or workmanship.

6.2) If there are any such defects we shall, at our option and expense, repair or replace the defective products free of charge provided that the products have not become defective for any other reason, such as accidental damage or a failure to user or install them in accordance with our/the manufactures instruction

 

7. PRODUCT & INFORMATION ALTERATIONS

7.1) We reserves the right to withdraw or make alterations to our products without notice or liability.

7.2) We reserve the right to substitute goods within your order with goods of an equivalent nature.

7.3) If you do not wish to accept the substituted goods then the goods must be returned to us within 7 days of receipt, in line with our Cancellation & Returns policy.

 

8. DELIVERY & RISK

8.1) Unless otherwise specified delivery shall be deemed to take place when the products are delivered to your premises, or alternative delivery address as specified by the purchaser. A charge may be made for delivery. Any such charge will be detailed at the point of order, thought this may be subject to change.

8.2) Should this delivery charge change the purchaser will be informed in writing before the goods are dispatched. Should the price be unacceptable to the purchaser, Alarmtronic Ltd will accept a written cancellation of the order, with no penalty to the purchaser.

8.3) All products dispatched by Alarmtronic Ltd will be delivered by a method of transport selected by Alarmtronic Ltd in the absence of contrary agreement with the purchaser.

8.4) Products are at risk of the purchaser from the time of dispatch and the purchaser is then liable for the invoice value. Claims for incorrect delivery shortages, damage to goods in transit or other discrepancies notified to Alarmtronic Ltd and the carrier within 7 days of delivery may be considered.

8.5) Claims for non-delivery will also be considered if notified to Alarmtronic Ltd with 3 days of the date of dispatch.

8.6) Alarmtronic Ltd is not liable for any loss or damage to products returned for repair or credit unless Alarmtronic Ltd agrees or replaces them under warranty and the purchaser sends a separate written advice to Alarmtronic Ltd at the date.

8.7) Next Day Delivery Terms – If the Items you are purchasing are in stock, The Order CUT OFF time is 1PM, Any orders placed after 1PM with be dispatched the following day.

 

9. SECONDARY RISK

Alarmtronic Ltd is not liable for any damage to property of consequential loss; e.g. Loss of product, loss of profit, loss of goods in store which arises by defects or delays in delivery of products irrespective of the cause, including faulty manufacture.

 

10. SUITABILITY OF PRODUCTS

Alarmtronic Ltd makes no representation that any product or service referred to in this web site will be appropriate for use in locations other than those implied. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to locate, use and maintain equipment in accordance with their responsibilities.

 

11. TERMS OF PAYMENT

Invoiced prices are strictly net and unless otherwise agreed in writing are payable at the point of order and before goods are dispatched.

 

12. TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP

12.1) Alarmtronic Ltd remains the owner of the products until it receives full payment of the invoice price, until such time does ownership in the products passes to the purchaser.

12.2) Alarmtronic Ltd is entitled an any time to require the purchaser to return them to Alarmtronic Ltd and if the purchaser defaults, to enter the premises where the product are stored and repossess them.

12.3) The purchaser is not entitled to pledge or charge in any way the products which remain owned by Alarmtronic Ltd and if the purchaser does so all monies owning by the purchaser to Alarmtronic Ltd shall immediately become due and payable without prejudice to any right or remedy of Alarmtronic Ltd

 

13. ASSIGNMENT

The contact is personal to You and or your company and may not be assigned or otherwise transferred without our written consent.

 

14. STATUTORY RIGHTS

Nothing in this agreement shall affect the statutory rights of a consumer.
